Saukville Farmers Market
Sundays at Veterans Park - 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Our Market features fresh in-season Wisconsin produce grown by area farmers, as well as green house and floral products and artisan quality crafts.

Halloween Hullabaloo - Free Community Event

Join us for some spooktacular fun at the annual Halloween Hullabaloo. 
Fun activities to include: arts & crafts, carnival games, face painting, trick-or-treat, bounce houses, and more!  The pool will be open with slide and water features.

Hydrant Flushing

Hydrant flushing will continue Oct. 23 through Oct. 26There may be some discoloration in your water.  This is iron and is not harmful.  Running your faucets for a short period of time after flushing is completed in your area should clear the lines.  We recommend that you do not do laundry if your water is discolored.  If you forget and your clothes have a reddish appearance, DO NOT DRY THE CLOTHES; rather rewash in cold water to remove the discoloration. 

3rd Quarter Water Bills - Due by Oct. 25th. 
Late penalties will be asses on payments received or post marked after that date.


Curbside Leaf Sweeping runs Oct. 2nd - Dec. 1sttime and weather permitting. 
Here are some reminders when putting your leaves out for curbside collection:
  • Rake leaves into a neat pile, curbside, but not out into the street.  Do not make excessively high or large piles. 
  • Do not park vehicles near or on leaf piles.  Leaves must be accessible for the leaf sweeper to collect.
  • Do not mix leaves with other yard waste, twigs, or branches.
  • Please keep all leaves away from storm sewer grates or remove debris if it occurs. This will help prevent clogging of the catch basins during the wet spring season.
  • Do not block fire hydrants or mailboxes.

Part-Time & Volunteer Opportunities


Public Works - Compost Site Attendant

Seasonal - Immediate Opening

Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and maintenance of the Village Compost Site located at the Public Works Garage, 649 S. Main St.  Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturdays only, on a rotating schedule, through Nov. 18, 2017.  Interested parties should complete an employment application and return it to Village Hall, 639 E. Green Bay Ave.  Applications can be obtained from the website or at Village Hall.  Questions should be directed to Raymond deBruijn, Public Works Superintendent, 262-284-0545, or rdebruijn@village.saukville.wi.us .

Part-time On-Call and Volunteer opportunities are available through the Village of Saukville Fire Dept. and Police Dept.  Please contact the respective department for complete info.

Fire Department
Part-time, paid, on-call positions are available for Fire-Fighters and EMTS.  Applications are available at Village Hall and on the Village website.  For more information, call the Fire Dept. at 262-284-5800 and leave a message.

Police Department
The Saukville Police Dept. is seeking dedicated, community minded individuals to become part of our volunteer Police Reserves team.  For more info, call the Police Dept. at 262-284-0444.
