The tornado warning sirens are only sounded when a tornado warning is sent to us by the National Weather Service. The sirens are controlled by the Police Dispatcher or the Fire Department. They are also on a prevention maintenance program to ensure their condition. The monthly test is done on the first Friday of the month. The placement of the alarms is periodically checked to ensure that they can be heard in all parts of the Village. Any questions concerning this alert system may be directed to the Village Hall.
