The purpose of the Village's Cross Connection Control Program is to help eliminate possible contamination of the public water distribution system. There are two required components of the program; 1) Site Inspection and 2) Compliance with the State Plumbing Code SPS 382.41. The Village is working jointly with inspectors from HydroCorp, Inc. to conduct these inspections. Letters are sent to all residential and commercial properties requesting scheduling of an inspection appointment.
PLEASE RESPOND TO THESE LETTERS. It is necessary for the inspector to gain access to your home/facility in order to review your water system for any piping or connections that could possibly contaminate the Village's water distribution system.
There is no cost for the inspection and each inspection takes on average less than 20 minutes for a home and 45 minutes for a business.
