Snow Plow Safety

Please treat snow plow drivers with courtesy and caution.  Keeping clear of their operations allows them to do their job quickly, efficiently, and safely.

  • Do not park on the street if it is snowing or you see a plow approaching.
  • Don't pull out in front of a plow at the last second.
  • Keep at least 300 feet of distance from the rear of a plow as it may stop or back up without warning.
