Employment Opportunities

Public Works - Full-time Operator/Laborer

The Village of Saukville is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Operator/Laborer position.  40 hours per week.  Flexible work hours to meet the operational needs of the organization including occasional weekend and evening hours.  Starting wage range is $19 to $21 per hour with benefits, DOQ.  A pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with commercial driver’s license (CDL) classificationDeadline: Friday, March 23, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

Compost Site Attendants (Part-time, Seasonal)

Multiple openings for the 2018 Season - Mid-April through Mid-November.  Hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturdays only, on a rotating schedule.  Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and maintenance of the Village Compost Site located at the Public Works Garage, 649 S. Main Street.

Winter Parking Restrictions

No person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village of Saukville between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., Dec. 1 - April 1.

Cat License - Dog License Pics

2018 Dog & Cat Licenses

All Village of Saukville pet owners owning a cat or dog older than six months are required by Village Ordinance to purchase a pet license.  2018 licenses can be purchased at Village Hall.  A late penalty will be imposed for pet license processing after March 31st.  Proof of rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required for licensing new pets and those with expired vaccine info.

Part-time On-Call and Volunteer opportunities are available through the Village of Saukville Fire Dept. and Police Dept.  Please contact the respective department for complete info.

Fire Department
Part-time, paid, on-call positions are available for Fire-Fighters and EMTS.  Applications are available at Village Hall and on the Village website.  For more information, call the Fire Dept. at 262-284-5800 and leave a message.

Police Department
The Saukville Police Dept. is seeking dedicated, community minded individuals to become part of our volunteer Police Reserves team.  For more info, call the Police Dept. at 262-284-0444.
