Annual Christmas Lighting

Sunday, Dec. 1st at Veterans Park - 6:00 p.m.

Join in the Village's annual Christmas Tree Lighting.  We will be singing Christmas carols as we welcome in the holiday season and light the trees!  Santa will also make an appearance!  Hot chocolate and treats will be provided.  First 50 families will receive a free Advent calendar.  Sponsored by First Immanuel/River of Life Church, Saukville.

Oscar Grady Library Events & Programs

Here Comes Santa Claus - to Oscar Grady Library!

Wed., Dec. 4th - 6:30 p.m.
Get into the holiday spirit and join us in singing some Christmas carols and completing a craft project. Santa will be dropping in to visit so so don't forget the kids' wish lists and a camera!  This event is free to attend.  Families welcome!  

"Food for Fines" at the Library - through Dec. 16th
Bring in non-perishable food items for forgiveness of library fines.  Contact the Oscar Grady Library for details.

Annual Christmas craft and bake sale.  Sponsored by the Saukville Landt-Thiel Post 470 Auxiliary.  Lunch items and beverages also available for purchase.

DPW Compost & Appliance Drop Site is closed for the season.

Curbside Leaf Collection Ends Dec. 2nd 

The Village will collect leaves curbside, as time and weather permit, through Dec. 2nd.  Do NOT place brush or plant materials in leaf piles.  Keep clear of storm drains.  Avoid parking vehicles on or near leaf piles.  

Pet Licensing

All Village residents owning a dog or cat that is older than six months are required by Village Ordinance 61-8, to purchase a pet license.  Licenses can be purchased at Village Hall.  Proof of current rabies vaccination (Rabies Certificate) is required for new pets and when updated rabies shots are required.  
A late penalty is imposed for renewal pet license processing after March 31st.
Fees - Dog License:  $8 Altered; $10 Non-altered  ($5 late fee)
Fees - Cat License:   $5 Altered;   $7 Non-altered  ($3 late fee)

Part-Time & Volunteer Opportunities

Part-time On-Call and Volunteer opportunities are available through the Village of Saukville Fire Dept. and Police Dept.  Please contact the respective department for complete info.

Fire Department
Part-time, paid, on-call positions are available for Fire-Fighters and EMTS.  Applications are available at Village Hall and on the Village website.  For more information, call the Fire Dept. at 262-284-5800 and leave a message.

Police Department
The Saukville Police Dept. is seeking dedicated, community minded individuals to become part of our volunteer Police Reserves team.  For more info, call the Police Dept. at 262-284-0444.
