The Saukville Fire Dept. is a paid, on-call department. We are always seeking new members. If you are interested in joining as a firefighter or EMT, please call 262-284-5800. If you get voicemail, please leave a message with your contact information. To apply, you must be over the age of 18, have a high school diploma or GED, be a resident of the Saukville Fire Dept. protection area or work within Village limits and be able to leave work to answer calls. Application forms are available on the Village website (link below).
No person shall park any vehicle for more than 30 minutes on any street in the Village between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for the period beginning April 1 and ending December 1. Physicians on emergency calls and persons having special written permission from the Police Department are exempted from the terms of this section.

The Saukville Police Department does our best to accommodate the many requests we get for tours. Contact the Saukville Police Department during business hours and request to speak with Lieutenant Kosmosky to see if we can accommodate your group as well.
The compost site is open on select days mid-April to mid-November. See the Yard Waste (Compost) Disposal page for date and time details. Compost site is located at the Public works garage 649 S Main Street.
